The Android rumor mill is turning its attention to the Motorola X Phone, the name given to the first, true hardware collaboration between Motorola and new owners Google.
GSM Arena has received the image above from a tipster, and from the get-go we’ll tell you that it looks totally fake. Unless someone wanted us to question the lack of a speaker needed for actual calls or the fact that the time is off by a couple of minutes (check out the first circle and then the status bar,) this looks like a bad photoshopped image so far.
The X Phone will arrive at some point in November, in time for the holiday season not June or July as previous rumors have suggested and that the handset will feature some high-end features including a 4.8 inch display protected by sapphire glass instead of good old Gorilla Glass, a 2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a 4000mAh battery.
The Android version is 4.2 Jelly Bean with a very few customizations job by Motorola. In the image (assuming that it pictures the real thing) you’ll notice that the icons are stock Android.
